# Connect Cursor

> Add Montage to Cursor as an MCP server, sign in once, and Cursor's agent can make and export your videos.

## Connect, step by step

1. In Cursor, open **Settings → MCP** and press **Add new MCP server**.
1. Paste the server URL: `https://app.getmontage.ai/mcp`.
1. Press **Connect**. In the browser, sign in to Montage if asked, then press **Allow**.
1. In Cursor's chat, ask: « List my Montage videos ».

> The workspace must be on Pro, Max or Ultra.

## With one click

Cursor also installs a server from a link. Montage's:

## Your project's files

Cursor's agent works on your computer, so it can send a file from your project with `start_upload` and the `curl` command it gives, then `finish_upload`. With the Montage app for Mac open, `import_on_computer` keeps the original on your computer.

## Questions

### Cursor shows Montage's tools but every call fails.

Read the answer: « Montage MCP is on the Pro plan and above » means the workspace's plan; « This person has no workspace » means the account you allowed has none yet. Open Montage once with that account.
