# Animated text

> Titles, figures, lower thirds, lists that build: describe the text and how it should move, and Montage designs it and animates it in your video.

## Add text, step by step

1. In **Ask**, say what and when: « At 0:05, my name and job at the bottom left », « A big "2 500 000 €" that counts up ».
1. Say how it moves: « slides in from the left », « pops in word by word ».
1. Name the font: any Google Fonts family, or your own font file added with **+** then **Add footage**.
1. Watch, then fix it by asking or by commenting on the picture where it is.

## Use it again

## Questions

### Does text in Arabic or Hebrew work?

Yes. It is written right to left.

### If I change a saved component, do my videos change?

Yes. Every video that uses a component from the Library uses the one kept there.
