Workspaces

A workspace holds your videos, your footage, your Library, your plan and your credits. Here is how to have more than one and move between them.

What a workspace holds

	Kept per workspace
Videos and footage	Everyone in it sees every video

Plan and credits	One plan; the same credits for everyone

Your workspaces

When you make your account, Montage makes your own workspace, named « (your first name)’s workspace ». You get another one each time someone invites you into theirs and you accept.

Move between them

Open the menu at the foot of the sidebar (on a phone, the round button at the bottom).
Under Workspaces, pick one. A tick shows the one you are in.

Rename or leave

Open Workspace and team.
To rename it, click its name (an owner or an admin).
To leave, open your own row and pick Leave the workspace.

You can’t leave your only workspace, nor one you own. The owner pays for the workspace and stays in it.

Questions

Can I make a new workspace myself?

No: you have the one made with your account, and the ones you are invited into.

Is the plan per person or per workspace?

Per workspace. Each workspace has its own plan and its own credits.

If I leave, what happens to my videos?

They stay in the workspace: what someone made there stays there.
