What's new in Montage

Everything we ship, the week we ship it: the web app, and Montage for Mac.

Mac app 0.1.4

Montage for Mac.

Montage now runs on your computer. Your videos are read where they are: nothing to wait for before you start. The export reads your original files and uses your computer's video chip, so a 4K video comes out at its full quality.

  • Export in ProRes, H.265 or H.264, at the size and the pictures per second you pick.
  • HDR stays HDR when what you filmed is HDR.
  • Save your export settings as a preset and use it again.
Web app

Every video you add now plays.

ProRes from a camera, H.265 from an iPhone, HDR, Dolby sound: whatever you drop is sent as it is, and Montage makes the file that plays everywhere, on any browser, on a phone, on the share link.

Web app

A new export window.

Pick what you take away: the video, the sound alone, or the cut for Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. Pick the quality in plain words; Montage tells you what it means for your video.

AI agents

Your AI can add and export videos.

Connected to Montage, Claude or another AI can now add a video from a link or from your computer, and export it with every option: on Montage, or on your own computer through the Mac app.
